Dr. A.J. Nguyen grew up in Vietnam and later moved to Lewisville, Texas, before attending Texas A&M University. He has served as an emergency physician for over 10 years in rural border areas and sees firsthand the need for affordable, accessible care. He has served as Director of Emergency Medicine, Wound Care, and Hyperbaric Care, and was Medical Director for a health mission in 2010. His specialties include emergency and trauma care, functional medicine, and wellness. Dr. Nguyen has taken part in multiple outreach efforts, including the 2010 health mission with the U.S. Air Force and QVN, a Vietnam orphanage mission in 2023, and another in 2014. He enjoys reading, exercising, playing soccer and tennis. 

Dr. Alexandra Ly has been practicing optometry for 20 years and completed her doctorate at Southern College of Optometry in 2006. She grew up in San Diego, CA, and attended the University of Houston for her undergraduate degree. Her favorite part of eye care is helping patients who struggle with vision challenges, especially those who need glasses or suffer from eye pain or infection and guiding them toward clearer, more confident vision. Her specialties include myopia control and dry eye disease. 

Dr. Ly volunteers locally through health fairs and vision screenings, and she also travels internationally to provide eye care to underserved communities. She loves spending time with her husband and three children, and enjoys traveling, especially cruising and travel planning.
